Nomination of Speakers Invited
The India Design Summit welcomes nominations of speakers for consideration. The aim of the India Design Summit is to bring the best thought leaders for cutting-edge content and lively conversation.
We welcome nominations and self nominations from design business heads, executives working at senior level at leading companies, experts in design innovation and thought leaders who would go beyond insular and self-referential arguments about design and create a collective consciousness and offer a discourse that is future-focused.
Prospective speakers should be prepared to deliver strategies, models, practices, and transformations supported by case studies, real-world examples and data on topics consonant with the summit theme and sub-themes. They should articulate the evolving relationship of design with businesses, policymaking, planning and communities.

Please do not submit topics that are designed to pitch a specific business solution or service.
Nomination Submission
If you would like to become a Speaker, you first need to draft a proposal that will get your talk selected. Your proposal should be a valuable overview for your talk.
Proposals must include:
The full name and contact information for those involved in the presentation;
A 1-sentence abstract of proposed topic
A 400 word outline of proposed presentation
A short biography and/or brief resume listing relevant experience and publications, and website;
Presenters are free to propose topics, interactive, immersive or exploratory experiences that engage with the ideas that form the foundation of the summit.
The speaker outreach is already in progress. We are considering speaker nominations as they are received and finalizing them. Kindly submit your nomination at the earliest.

The proposals should be submitted with a subject line “IDS Speaker Nomination” and sent in a pdf format.
A committee will select speakers, and successful applicants will be notified by October 31, 2017. Presenters will receive complimentary registration. Other costs including travel and stay will have to be borne by the selected speaker.
